Extinct plant reappear

Just found an interesting article about plants found in tropical far North Australia that were thought extinct since the late 1800s. The article also mentions the fact that each year about fifty new plant species are discovered and described in Queensland. I have been to this fascinating region in Australia and, having seen something of the vast jungles up there, I can believe that they are still coming across new species of flora all the time.
